Most people are chocolate fans, and why not, chocolate in moderation is actually very good for you; especially in the raw cacao form. The cacao bean dates back to at least the 1400’s in Central and South America and was used as a tasty god-like elixir, for medicinal uses and an additive to food.
The cacao bean in its original form is very bitter tasting, but is surrounded by a very sweet and juicy pulp we rarely hear about. This pulp is also used in the same ways the bean is, taking some of the bite out of the bean when mixed together.
