HEY ALL, HELP ME OUT HERE…
Lots of Celiac & Intolerant people will be at shared tables this Holiday season.
Please Help Me Educate by sending all those wonderful TIPS you have for a shared GLUTEN & GLUTEN-FREE table.
Many out there have questions about cross contamination and some may not even know what that is or the seriousness.
With your help hopefully we can create the perfect, non-cross contaminated shared no one getting sick happy holiday table.
Thanks in advance all you super awesome Readers 🙂

Thank you, much appreciated!!
Unfortunately when I do go to a family Holiday gathering I bring enough of my own food so that I don’t have to eat what anyone else cooked. Everyone is free to eat what I bring, I cook for everyone, but if I get cross contaminated I get really sick, sometimes in the hospital because of my other illnesses.

Hello Kirsten,
This is a great idea, the other day I was reading about the subject and an idea was to provide different colors for the GF dishes so any one would know right from a sight what it is. In this case, you just want tips of this kind for that table, or would like a recipe?
I would love to share the recipe for any one of my ganaches as part of the dinner table, but I am from another country and dont know what kind of flavors and ingredients will fit thanksgiving table (I know about the turkey, pumpink, and cranberry, but that´s pretty much it!) can you give me a hint to start working with?
In case you are not familiar with ganache, is is a creamy or sirop-like mixture based on chocolate and any kind of liquid, (right know, I can think of a cranberry juice based ganache), mixed with butter, spices and as many ingredients as the chef/cook/chocolatier/designer of the product want to put in there.
I would be more than glad to share one if you guide me in the right direction!
Have a blessed day!
Joel.
Hi Joel,
Yes I’m looking for ideas similar to the different color plates, but would love you to share a ganache recipe.
What is your favorite ganache you make?

I say why does it have to be shared! Thanksgiving is the perfect meal to make gluten free without anyone noticing. Except maybe for dessert, in which case, options are a plenty.

When you need room temperature eggs but forgot to get them out of the frig, just put them into hot tap water for 3-4 minutes and there you go…worked for me.
